About Big Rock

Big Rock was registered as a record company in Sydney, Australia in 1980. It was set up to promote and record local artists. We here at Big Rock have been waiting for the Local Content laws to change for over thirty years. We have many talented artists on Big Rock but none that have received ‘main stream' radio airplay. We do however get massive support from regional stations and over the years this has allowed us to survive in this industry dominated by ‘overseas major companies' posing as Australian.

We consider our company to be in the Australian Music Business not the' disposable Pop market'. Our acts are in fact ‘Lifers' and most are out there working live.
